HELSINKI, November 9, 2018 – Rightware, the leading provider of automotive user interface software, was honored with the Export Award at the Auto and Transportation Gala in Helsinki. The prize was delivered by Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä, and accepting the prize was Ville Ilves, CEO of Rightware.
“It is an honor to receive this Export Award in recognition of Rightware’s role as a major supplier to the global automotive market,” said Ilves. “We serve as proud ambassadors of Finnish technology and culture in our primary markets of Europe, North America, and Asia.”
At the Auto and Transportation Gala 2018 (Auto- ja liikennegaala 2018), arranged in conjunction with the Auto 2018 car show in Helsinki, awards were given in several categories, including journalism, photography, insurance, culture, and car of the year.
As highlighted by the event organizers, “an automotive industrial cluster is forming in Finland, which, in addition to manufacturing automobiles, develops high technology for the industry. The Export Award was given to Rightware Oy, which develops digital systems for the automotive industry.”
