HELSINKI, December 6, 2019 – Rightware, the leading provider of automotive user interface software and headline partner of the annual Finnish Auto and Transportation Gala, jointly delivered the new Innovation Award to Neste for their MY Renewable Diesel produced from renewable raw materials. The award from Rightware will be donated to the environmental protection organization John Nurminen Foundation in defense of the Baltic Sea.
“As a close partner of Auto- ja Liikennegalla, we have the privilege to sponsor the new Innovation Award and award it to Neste for their breakthrough low-carbon fuel,” said Tero Koivu, COO of Rightware, who jointly presented the award.
“The vibrant Finnish automotive ecosystem has a surprising number of players driving technology forward across the industry, from startups to well established companies,” Koivu continued. “Neste is well positioned to make a significant positive impact on the environment.”
The main focus of the gala is the unveiling of Finland’s “Car of the Year.” The seven finalists were Audi E-tron, Mazda 3, Peugeot 208, Renault Clio, Skoda Kamiq, Skoda Scala, and Toyota Corolla.
