Multi-screen digital cockpit concept shows automotive innovation
Las Vegas, January 6, 2016 - Rightware, the leading provider of user interface creation software for the automotive industry, revealed today their vision of tomorrow’s connected car user interface. The concept, titled ”Triton - Connected HMI”, showcases how car manufacturers can rapidly develop multi-display user experiences with unified look and feel in the car. The concept shows how the user interface on several in-car displays such as instrument cluster, infotainment system, HUD and a personal mobile device can be seamlessly connected, with the driver having always-on access to their most important information.
The Triton - Connected HMI concept also showcases the value of off-board connectivity and devices, allowing a personalized in-car experience by using a mobile device as the authentication to AT&T Drive cloud platform, that delivers personal data and preferences to the onboard systems.
