The Kanzi Experience at CES 2019 provided a first-hand glimpse into why the Kanzi product family is the toolchain of choice for all displays and services in the car regardless of operating system or platform architecture. Highlights included:

Kanzi for Android™

An Android Automotive system with advanced graphics powered by Kanzi UI and Android-based apps and services shared across the multi-screen digital cockpit with Kanzi Connect.


Production HMIs

A curated set of commercially shipping Kanzi-powered production HMIs, along with advanced digital cockpit demonstrators from selected Tier 1 customers.

Kanzi for Android™

The Kanzi for Android demonstration showcases how Kanzi UI complements Android Automotive with advanced visuals and animations, and how Kanzi Connect enables apps and services from the embedded Android operating system to be shared across all vehicle displays. This combination of technologies allows automakers to build user interfaces true to their brand identity while benefitting from the features and services available in Android and its ecosystem.


Kanzi Hybrid

Kanzi Hybrid is an intelligent platform with high-quality 2D/2.5D graphics on a hybrid instrument cluster. Shown to the public for the first time at CES 2019, this demonstration illustrates innovative blending of digital and analog gauges on an entry-level commercial MCU.


Kanzi Maps

Kanzi Maps is a map renderer for Kanzi UI, allowing full customization of visualization and interaction for any map data. This latest demonstration highlights new features including terrain rendering and road/route elevation.


Graphical effects

The Kanzi Experience included a sampling of visual effects made with Kanzi UI, including post-processing, physically-based rendering, shader effects, photo-realistic materials, and new use-cases for Kanzi Particles.


Kanzi partner demonstrations

In our Partner Lounge, we were pleased to present Kanzi-powered production HMIs created by our partner Visteon and visionary automaker Karma Automotive, and an advanced demonstrator from leading Chinese Tier 1 Desay SV.

Karma Revero HMI System

A reconfigurable driver cluster display and center console Infotainment system powered by Kanzi to leverage a future-forward design that visually complements the unique interior and exterior design experience of the Karma Revero.



2019 Ford Mustang Digital Reconfigurable Instrument Cluster

The Ford Mustang digital instrument cluster was developed by Visteon using the Kanzi UI framework by Rightware. The Mustang is the first in-segment mass-market sports car to feature a fully digital instrument cluster, with graphics powered by Kanzi. The Mustang was one of the WardsAuto '10 Best UX' award winners in October, 2018.



2019 Lincoln Navigator Digital Reconfigurable Instrument Cluster

The Lincoln Navigator digital instrument cluster was developed by Visteon using the Kanzi UI framework by Rightware. The Lincoln Navigator was one of the WardsAuto '10 Best UX' award winners in October, 2018.

Highly efficient HMI with pleasant dynamic effects and an intelligent and emotion-sensitive driving assistant.



The Rightware Party was THE place to be in Las Vegas! This fun networking event is an annual feature of the Kanzi Partner Program and was sponsored by our newest partners Monotype and KPIT, and our old friends at E-Planet, Silli Solutions, and Green Hills Software.
