Rightware partner Visteon uses Kanzi in new Range Rover Velar digital instrument cluster

HELSINKI, July 5, 2017 - In March 2017, Jaguar Land Rover unveiled the innovative new Range Rover Velar, which features an advanced digital cockpit with multiple front and rear displays. Today, our partner Visteon Corporation has revealed that the 12.3” high-definition all-digital instrument cluster was developed with Rightware’s flagship user interface design and development tool, Kanzi.

Visteon’s advanced multicore platform technology is designed for superior multimedia and graphics performance. Rightware’s UI software toolkit, Kanzi Studio, enables development of custom shaders for specialized graphics effects in the vehicle, and Kanzi Runtime provides a high-performance graphics engine to power the rich visual user experience.

“Rightware congratulates our partner Visteon Corporation on this extension of their premium instrument cluster technology provided to Jaguar Land Rover,” said Jonas Geust, CEO, Rightware. “As evidenced in the new Range Rover Velar, we share a vision of stunning performance, elegance, and usability in the all-digital cockpit.”
