Rightware Collaborates with Nissan for Gripz Concept Car Design at IAA 2015

September 15, 2015, Frankfurt, Germany

Rightware, the leading provider of Kanzi® User Interface technology for the automotive industry, announced today a collaboration with Nissan. Rightware designed a next-generation digital infotainment concept for the Nissan Gripz concept car, revealed today at the IAA 2015 conference in Frankfurt, Germany.

We have been thrilled with the opportunity of working with Nissan on the Gripz project. In our design we wanted to reflect some of the future trends in automotive Human-Machine Interface design, such as incorporating the car’s shape language in the digital design and an emphasis on seamless user experience. We’re seeing more and more car manufacturers realize that in order to create cars that customers love, it’s essential to invest in digital user interface design. This is also why car makers value our designer-oriented Kanzi® HMI creation tool.” Said Olli Laiho, Director of Product Marketing, Rightware.

The Nissan Gripz crossover concept, launched at IAA 2015, takes influence from the original 1970’s desert racers such as the Datsun 240Z, as well as high-performance road-going bicycles.
