New look & feel
After long crunch we finally made it. We finally got our new look & feel ready and you are now looking it. During last months we changed everything: from visual point of view to the very deep end of Content Management System (CMS). But now this all is behind and we can start to enjoy this fresh and modern era of Rightware.
Since I’m not so poetic person, and my drawing skills are in same level as 5-years old, I’m going straight to the deep end and tell about techniques and technology behind this site.
Site was done with HTML5 & CSS3 because every modern browser (from desktops to mobile phones) understand these two perfectly. Site is tuned to show best sides of it, no matter what device you use: desktop, tablet or mobile phone. Actually doing support for mobile devices was almost too easy: tell device the content width, add some margin and ensure front page banners act nice n’ smooth with touch devices and voilà. Mobile device support is 100%.
As for CMS we selected WordPress because it has the most intuitive editor and most active user base. No matter what is your problem, you can always find plugin for that :)
Still we have long road to walk: now we have only basic content ready, but slowly and persistently amount of content will increase. And new areas are explored: LinkedIn and Twitter was our best buddies earlier. Now we took Facebook with us and of course Youtube.
