Field Application Engineer, South Korea
For our operations in South Korea, we're strengthening our sales team with skilled Field Application Engineer.

Our customers are some of the most respected companies within mobile phone, automotive and embedded industries, including AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, Broadcom, Qualcomm, China Mobile, LG, Samsung, Nokia, Texas Instruments and Audi.
As an Application Engineer you work as part of a close-knit sales team, assuming responsibility for pre-sales engagements with area accounts and new business opportunities for all Rightware products in Korea.
A technical expert on a tool/technology level, you will be able to demo, benchmark and troubleshoot at the most detailed level. You are an excellent customer-facing presenter, pro-active and an initiative-taker.
We appreciate:
- Experience in Embedded Software in one or more of the following vertical market segments: Mobile, Automotive, Consumer
- Demonstrable technical expertise and experience in the following areas: 1) Graphical programming and 2) working with various mobile and smart platforms (ie. Android)
- B.Sc. or equivalent in Software Engineering or similar/related field
- Ability to work independently of close supervision
- Diplomacy and sensitivity to customer needs
- Convincing, assertive, attentive and tenacious
- Ability to communicate across different levels within the key account organizations
- Skilled in establishing and nurturing relationships at the appropriate level
- Ability to identify opportunities and follow-up on them
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel by car/plane/train nationally (~25 % of the time)
