Mirada™ - The Benchmark for automotive in-car graphics rendering performance
Mirada™ is an OpenGL® ES 2.0 benchmark that tests 3D graphics performance of future in-car graphics implementations. Several high detail automotive in-car graphics tests feature workloads that tax OpenGL ES 2.0 hardware in a realistic and visually stunning way. In addition to realistic workloads, Mirada includes tests for measuring the performance of shader processing with polygon throughput and fillrate tests.
Mirada enables impartial performance measurement and comparison between different OpenGL ES 2.0 solutions that are targeted for automotive industry.
Usage
Mirada is designed for development hardware, FPGAs, early simulation models and ready in-car graphics systems. It assists in product development, design evaluation and enables comparison of various suppliers’ systems.
Availability
Mirada v1.0 is now available via source code licensing to car manufacturers, Tier-1 suppliers, chip companies and 3D graphics core IP licensors.Customers are able to port and compile the benchmark for their own development platforms or Rightware can handle these tasks on customer’s behalf. Compilations for custom platforms will be delivered upon order.
Key Features
- Automotive specific and objective OpenGL ES 2.0 3D hardware benchmark application
- Produces realistic workloads designed to stress next generation in-car graphics hardware with a demanding 3D navigation, infotainment and dashboard loads
- Source code access through licensing
- Includes three high detail application tests, and several feature tests for measuring different features of the hardware.
Benefits
- Mirada is the only available in-car graphics benchmarking product designed specifically to benchmark the next generation OpenGL ES 2.0 programmable hardware with a visually stunning and realistic content.
- Source code licensing enables licensees to port the benchmark to their platform, to satisfy their development requirements.
- Tier-1 suppliers and car manufacturers will be able to test next generation hardware as development boards and next generation implementations to support more sophisticated hardware comparison and selection from various suppliers.
As with all Rightware benchmarks, Mirada has been created in cooperation with our BDP members and benchmark licensees in order to produce the best possible and most reliable set of diagnostic tools.
