Jonas “Jocke” Geust joined Rightware as member of the Board of Directors (2010 – 2012) and started as CEO in January 2013. Jonas began his career with Nokia, where he spent 15 years in leadership positions in Supply Line, Quality, New Growth Business, and finally running the N-Series Division. Prior to joining Rightware he was partner and CEO of Havainne Oy.
Ville leads Rightware’s US operations. He has served in various executive positions in Europe and the USA building new business around cutting edge software solutions, namely NetHawk, 7signal, APL Systems, and now Rightware. Ville holds an Executive MBA, adding a business touch to his degree in computer science.
Tero is in charge of product development and the future direction of Rightware’s Kanzi products, and is one of the founders of the company. Prior to Rightware, Tero worked at Futuremark and Rovio, with a focus on real-time graphics. Tero has unique and deep understanding of how to apply modern graphics technologies in achieving world class visual design.
Tuomas leads Rightware’s global sales and marketing organization. He is also personally responsible for chosen Rightware key customer accounts and drives the pricing, business model and legal framework development and processes. Tuomas has over 10 years of sales execution experience in software, project and IP licensing sales with companies such as Hantro Products, On2 Technologies and Digia. Tuomas has a Master of Science -degree in Industrial engineering and management and his motto is: ABC = Always Be Closing.
Jussi oversees and controls the the accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, IT and tax functions at Rightware from one end of the world to the other and spends his days shaping strategic decisions into realistic financial reports and forecasts. Prior to Rightware Jussi had 10 years of experience working in international companies and in various corporate finance positions. Jussi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Matti is in charge of R&D at Rightware, from product family roadmap until product release to customer. He is also responsible of the technical support for Rightware’s key customers. Matti has over 20 years of software R&D experience in various roles, from software development to line, technology and project management. He also manages the Rightware patent portfolio. Matti has Master of Science degree in Information Technology.

Mr. Timo Tirkkonen, Investment Director, Partner and Executive Board Member of Inventure, has been in the early stage technology investing business for 15 years; first as a private investor and from 2005 onwards as an Investment Director and Partner at Inventure. Inventure is a technology investor in early stage companies, actively supporting growth oriented entrepreneurs to internationalize Nordic success stories. Inventure’s entrepreneur driven team works actively with the portfolio companies and brings their knowledge and network’s support. At Inventure, Timo focuses especially on deal flow generation and value creation of portfolio companies. Timo has hands-on experience as a board member from several early stage technology companies.
Timo, born in 1968, has also consulted over ten early stage companies. Over the years he has gained broad experience in public Corporate Governance and closing international transactions. Timo is well known in the IT industry and especially interested in developing the entrepreneurial activity in Finland through his broad network of industry players and advisers.
Mika has 25 years of experience in software industry in business development, sales management, marketing and partnerships and alliances with large multinational software companies as well as start-ups. He is passionate about helping companies to maximize the opportunity presented by digitalization incl. connected cars, digital marketing, education and IoT. Mika has also served as board of directors for several high-tech companies incl. Rightware.
Tero is an entrepreneur and international business executive par excellence. He has developed an extensive network of customers, partners and colleagues around the world while establishing companies and business relationships in Europe, North America and Asia alike. Tero has dedicated himself to computer graphics technologies for over 15 years and has become a distinguished pioneer of real-time 3D graphics, possessing a deep understanding of both technology and business issues in the rapidly growing 3D industry.
Prior to founding Rightware, Mr. Sarkkinen was CEO of Futuremark, a leading PC graphics benchmarking software provider. In 1999, he established Futuremark’s business in Silicon Valley and managed it for 7+ years. He led the company’s rapid organic growth while maintaining positive net income margin. In addition to his business degree from Helsinki School of Economics (now Aalto University), Tero also also has completed executive programs at Stanford Graduate School of Business and has studied at ESADE in Barcelona, Spain.
Dr. Sonck Thiebaut brings along more than 20 years of experience in embedded software development for real-time and safety-critical systems. Stefaan is co-founder and CEO of OpenSynergy, where he is responsible for product portfolio, corporate development and investors relations. Before that he led the competence center on vehicle electronics architecture at Carmeq (Volkswagen daughter) and was responsible for the development of real-time middleware solutions at Real-Time Innovations. He holds a Masters degree in engineering from KULeuven (Belgium) and a masters and doctoral degree from Stanford University.
Artturi Tarjanne is a co-founder of Nexit Ventures, a mobile venture capital firm focused on mobile and wireless innovation. Nexit invests primarily in Nordic and US-based companies with products and services for a global market. Nexit has offices in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Silicon Valley.
With over 25 years of entrepreneurial Infocom industry experience Mr. Tarjanne is well known and referenced in Finland for his track record as one of the pioneering successful software entrepreneurs and organizers of industry interests at large. He is also a sought after mentor and advisor for Infocom entrepreneurs.Mr. Tarjanne is deeply networked in the Finnish technology start-up community and has served as a board member or advisor in over a dozen early stage Infocom companies. He is an active contributor in several Finnish private and public organizations and has served as a board member in e.g. the Finnish Venture Capital Association (FVCA), the Finnish Software Entrepreneurs Association, and several technology programmes of TEKES, the National Technology Agency of Finland.
